Urvashi Dholakia’s Son Kshitij Escapes Unhurt After Tree Crashes Onto Car Amid Mumbai Rains

Mumbai: Television actor Kshitij Dholakia, son of popular TV actress Urvashi Dholakia, narrowly escaped a major mishap after a large tree fell on his parked car during heavy rainfall in Mumbai.

The incident occurred amid the ongoing spell of intense monsoon showers that have disrupted normal life in several parts of the city. Kshitij’s vehicle was parked when the tree suddenly collapsed, causing significant damage to the car. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the actor was not inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Sharing the aftermath on social media, Kshitij posted videos showing the damaged car trapped beneath the fallen tree. Emergency personnel, including firefighters and civic officials, were seen at the spot working to clear the debris and remove the tree.

The visuals highlighted the impact of the incident, with the vehicle suffering visible damage from the weight of the fallen tree. The rescue operation continued for some time before authorities managed to begin clearing the area.

Reacting to the incident, Kshitij expressed gratitude to the Mumbai Police and the Fire Brigade for their prompt response. He also reflected on how unpredictable life can be, noting that the incident could have had far more serious consequences had anyone been inside the car.

Calling himself fortunate, the actor said he was thankful to have escaped unharmed. His social media posts quickly drew reactions from followers and well-wishers, many expressing relief that no one was injured in the incident.

Mumbai has witnessed several weather-related incidents in recent days as heavy rainfall and gusty winds continue to affect different parts of the city. Falling trees, waterlogging and traffic disruptions have been reported from multiple locations, prompting authorities to remain on alert.

The incident involving Kshitij has once again highlighted the risks posed by extreme weather conditions during the monsoon season, particularly in densely populated urban areas where old trees and infrastructure can become vulnerable during heavy rain and strong winds.

On the professional front, Kshitij Dholakia recently entered the television industry with Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural drama Naagin 7. Before making his acting debut, he worked behind the scenes in the film industry as an assistant director and was associated with projects including Humshakals and Dream Girl.

He is currently appearing alongside his mother Urvashi Dholakia in the ZEE5 reality show Maa Hai Na, which explores the relationship between mothers and their children.

Urvashi Dholakia remains one of Indian television’s most recognisable faces. She gained widespread popularity for portraying the iconic character Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and later won Bigg Boss 6 in 2012.

While the damage to Kshitij’s vehicle is substantial, the absence of injuries has been viewed as a major relief by family members and fans alike.
