Rajesh Sharma’s health became a subject of concern earlier this week after reports claimed that he had fallen ill following an insect or spider bite while filming in Hyderabad. According to those reports, the actor was initially treated in Hyderabad before being shifted to Kolkata for further medical care.

The reports gained attention after actress Sudipa Chatterjee referred to an insect bite while sharing information about Sharma’s condition. However, the social media post was later removed, leading to fresh speculation over the exact cause of his illness.

Responding to the reports, the makers of Fauji said they had no knowledge of any medical emergency involving the actor during the shoot. According to information cited by entertainment portal Gulty, the production team stated that Sharma had completed his portion of filming and returned home nearly a week before the reports surfaced.

The team maintained that no formal information regarding an insect bite or any health-related incident was communicated to them while the actor was on set. Following the media reports, members of the production team reportedly attempted to contact Sharma’s family to understand the situation, but were unable to receive a response.

Adding another dimension to the matter, Rajesh Sharma’s personal assistant, Shubhashish Panda, reportedly released a video statement addressing the actor’s health. In the statement, Panda said Sharma had been admitted to hospital due to complications related to diabetes and was recovering under medical supervision.

He further indicated that the actor could be discharged soon if his condition continued to improve. The statement differs from earlier reports that attributed the illness to an insect bite sustained during filming.

Amid the uncertainty, actor Akshay Kumar expressed concern for his longtime colleague and friend. In a social media post, Akshay wrote that he was worried after hearing about Sharma’s condition and prayed for his speedy recovery. Referring to reports about an insect bite, he wished the actor good health and said they still had many conversations and laughs left to share together.
