Aahana Kumra receives death threats: Actress says 'I didn't come to the show for the threats'

Actress Aahana Kumra has been eliminated from the reality show 'Rise and Fall'. Her dispute with Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh on the show had been in the headlines. Now, the actress has revealed that due to her comments made about Pawan Singh, she was receiving rape and death threats from the Bhojpuri star's fans. The actress had to complain about this to the makers, after which the makers deleted the clips that had been tampered with.

Recently, when Aahana Kumra was asked in an interview with Bollywood Bubble if she regretted anything she said on the show, she replied, 'No, whatever I said on the show, I said it in anger, because some things had happened to me, so I felt it was justified to say them at that time. However, it was not taken well by some people. When I came out of the show and saw what people had said about me, I truly hadn't said anything like that about them. I have seen such videos where I haven't even used those words, and they were uploaded on YouTube. The makers uploaded them. They uploaded those videos, and then I had a conversation with those makers. Some things are put up for clickbaits.'

Further, the actress said, 'When I came out of the show, I received many rape and death threats. I received many threats. I have sent those screenshots to the makers, showing that I received such threats. Why am I getting such threats? I didn't say anything like that. I haven't abused anyone.'

'There is a fan following of a specific contestant of the show. They are threatening. Where are we living, in which century are we living where I am receiving so many threats for saying one thing and so many things have been said about me?'

Aahana further said, 'I saw many videos where something was said with a bubble over my mouth. And I told the makers, 'Where did I say this on the show? Please show me the timestamp if I said such a thing.' After this, they removed those clips. And those people apologized to me. I did not come to the show for death threats, nor did I come to the show for rape threats. I came to the show as a contestant. I was playing the game and everyone else was playing the game.'

When Aahana was asked which contestant's fans were giving threats, she said, 'I had said something about Pawan ji that I think his fans didn't like. There are many contestants who said many things about me and haven't apologized till date. Pawan ji comes from such a district, from such a place, from where I also come. We both are from Lucknow. And I had talked to him about this on the very first day. And when I touched his mother's feet in the end, he noticed that. And he said that if I apologize to you, I won't become small. When he and I have reconciled, he apologized to me. I also apologized to him on stage and he ended the matter. So people should also end that matter.'
