Actor Rajat Bedi, who recently returned to screens with Aryan Khan’s debut series ‘Ba*ds of Bollywood’**, brought his family to the show’s screening, where his daughter Vera Bedi caught everyone’s attention. Following the event, Vera was widely compared to young Kareena Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai.
In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Rajat Bedi revealed his daughter’s reaction to these comparisons.
He said, “She was very nervous and scared. One day she couldn’t focus on her work and told me, ‘Papa, people are creating inappropriate images of me using AI. Some are posting comparisons with Aishwarya and Kareena and writing nonsense, as if I’m going to ‘eat up’ 10 Aishwaryas or 10 Kareenas.’”
Vera, who is just 18 years old, has been disturbed by the attention and misuse of AI technology. Rajat urged people not to create AI-generated images of his children. He added, “She is happy, but she doesn’t like how things are coming out. People are making inappropriate AI images of her, and there are also many fan pages about her and my son. This is wrong.”
Rajat Bedi comes from a film family—he is the son of director-producer Narendra Bedi and grandson of renowned Urdu writer-director Rajinder Singh Bedi. He has acted in films like Koi Mil Gaya, Jaani Dushman, and Kyon Ho Gaya Na, and has also worked in Punjabi and South Indian cinema.
