Amitabh Bachchan Buys 3 Plots in Alibaug on His Birthday; Fans Celebrate Outside ‘Jalsa’ in Iconic Big B Style

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan turned 83 today and chose to mark the occasion by gifting himself a special present—three plots in Alibaug worth ₹6.59 crore. With this purchase, he now joins Virat Kohli as a neighbor in the coastal town.

Details of the Property Purchase
According to property registration records, Bachchan acquired the plots from HoABL (House of Abhinandan Lodha) under the ‘A Alibaug’ Phase-2 project. The combined area of the plots spans 9,557 square feet. The actor paid a registration fee of ₹90,000 and a stamp duty of ₹39.58 lakh on October 7, 2025.

Fans Celebrate Outside Jalsa
Meanwhile, fans in Mumbai celebrated Big B’s birthday in style outside his Jalsa bungalow. They cut cakes, sang his iconic songs, and danced to tunes from his films.

Some fans wore T-shirts with Amitabh’s photo, while others even sported tattoos inspired by his film ‘Deewaar’. Two fans dressed as famous Big B characters from ‘Coolie’ and ‘Yaarana’, performing dance routines that went viral on social media.

Across Mumbai, posters wishing the superstar a Happy Birthday were put up on various roads.

Speaking to ANI, a devoted fan said, “Today is the birthday of the superstar of the century. For us, it’s like celebrating Diwali and Holi together. We eagerly wait for October 11 every year. May God keep him healthy always.”

Another fan who traveled from Chhattisgarh added, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to our pride, glory, and honor, Amitabh Bachchan ji.”
