In a recent interview with Zindagi With Richa, Anupam Kher opened up about his strong bond with his brother, saying he could never part ways with him. “If people remembered what they were like in their childhood, they would never fight,” he reflected. “I see my life like a film — how can I forget that we grew up together? When I was struggling, I asked my brother to quit his job and come to Shimla. In this, Kirron deserves credit — she never questioned why I did so much for him. That’s where most problems begin.”
Kher also recalled an instance when his manager once questioned a cheque being issued to his brother. “I told him, never ask me how much money I give my brother,” the actor said firmly.
He went on to add, “Life has blessed me abundantly, so why shouldn’t I share it with my family? We are children of the same parents — and God has been kind to me. My brother never felt insecure about my success; in fact, I believe he is greater than me. I don’t consider myself superior.”
For those unaware, Anupam Kher’s brother is also associated with the entertainment industry and has acted in films such as Ghulam, Krrish 3, and Delhi Belly.
