PVR Inox Takes Maddock Films to Bombay High Court
PVR Inox has filed a case against Maddock Films in the Bombay High Court over issues related to the film Bhool Chuk Maaf. The legal dispute has stirred controversy just ahead of the film's release.
In view of the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, Maddock Films makers had cancelled the theatrical release of their upcoming film 'Bhool Chuk Maaf'. Let us tell you that Rajkumar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's film 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' was earlier to be released in theaters, but in view of the India-Pakistan dispute, the makers decided to release it on OTT. Due to this decision, PVR Inox has sent a legal notice to Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films as well as Pen Marudhan.
According to the media, the decision not to release the film 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' in theaters has caused huge financial loss to PVR Inox and PVR Inox has filed a lawsuit of Rs 60 crore against them. PVR CEO Kamal Gyanchandani has confirmed this to the media.
