Bollywood Actor Govinda Discharged from Mumbai Hospital After Fainting Incident

Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda was discharged from a critical care hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday after fainting at his residence the previous night. The 60-year-old actor was admitted at 1 AM following the incident, according to his friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal.

Govinda reassured fans, saying, “I am fine now,” and expressed gratitude for their concern. Lalit Bindal had earlier confirmed that Govinda experienced disorientation before fainting and was immediately taken to the hospital. He also posted on Instagram, stating, “My dear and respected friend Govinda ji has been admitted to the hospital after complaining of disorientation and fainting. I pray for his speedy recovery.”

Govinda had visited actor Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital on Monday night, where he was seen driving and appeared well, reassuring fans who were concerned about his health. Known for his vibrant performances, comic timing, and iconic dance moves, Govinda last appeared on the big screen in the 2019 film Rangeela Raja.

This marks the actor’s second hospitalization in the past year. In October of the previous year, he underwent an hour-long surgery at the same hospital to treat a leg injury caused by an accidental discharge of his licensed revolver while preparing for a trip to Kolkata. The bullet struck him below the knee, requiring immediate medical attention in the ICU.

Although Govinda has been selective about his film projects in recent years, he has expressed interest in exploring new roles. His wife, Ssunita Ahuja, has publicly encouraged him to maintain fitness and pursue upcoming work. Fans have sent an outpouring of messages wishing both Govinda and Dharmendra good health, eagerly anticipating the actor’s return to the screen.
