Filmfare OTT Awards 2025: 'Black Warrant' Wins Best Web Series; Jaideep Ahlawat and Ananya Panday Among Winners

The sixth edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards took place in Mumbai on December 15, drawing top stars including Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The ceremony celebrated excellence across web series, original films, and short films, with shows like Black Warrant, Paatal Lok Season 2, and Khauf receiving multiple accolades. Web originals such as Girls Will Be Girls, Stolen, and Sector 36 were also recognized.

In the series category, Black Warrant clinched the Best Series award, while Paatal Lok Season 2 was named Critics’ Best Series. Jaideep Ahlawat won Best Actor (Drama Series) for his performance in Paatal Lok – Season 2, and Monica Panwar received Best Actress (Drama Series) for Khauf. Critics’ awards went to Jahaan Kapoor and Rasika Dugal for their outstanding performances.

In comedy, Raat Jawaan Hai was chosen Best Comedy Series, with Karan Soni and Gaurav Shrivastav winning Best Actor (Male) in the category, and Ananya Panday taking Best Actress (Female) for Call Me Bae.

Other notable recognitions included:

  • Best Director (Series): Vikramaditya Motwane, Satyanshu Singh, Ankush Ajay, Pratiksha Pandit, and Rohin Ravidran (Black Warrant)

  • Best Director, Series (Critics): Anubhav Sinha (IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack)

  • Best Supporting Actor, Series (Male): Rahul Madhu (Black Warrant)

  • Best Supporting Actress, Series (Female): Tilottama Shome (Paatal Lok – Season 2)

Web original films were also celebrated, with Girls Will Be Girls winning Best Film and Shuchi Talati securing Best Director. Vikrant Massey earned Critics’ Best Actor for Sector 36, while Sanaya Malhotra was named Best Actress for Mrs.

Short films were highlighted as well, with Divorce winning Best Short Film (People’s Choice) and Fatima Sana Shaikh receiving Best Actress for Ayesha. The non-fiction/documentary award went to Langur, directed by Haider Khan, while Renuka Shahane was honoured as Best Director for the short film Dhawapatti.
