Himesh Takes a Jibe at Critics During Concert, Asks Fans: “Should I Sing Through My Nose or Normally?” Audience’s Witty Response Goes Viral

Popular singer Himesh Reshammiya delivered a power-packed performance on May 31 at his ‘Cap Mania Tour’ held at Mumbai’s Jio World Garden. During the show, he mesmerized the crowd with his iconic hit “Aashiq Banaya Aapne,” making even the celebrities in attendance groove to his tunes.

However, a particular moment from the concert has gone viral on social media, where Himesh took a humorous dig at his critics. In a playful tone, he asked the audience, “Should I sing through my nose or normally?” The crowd responded enthusiastically with loud cheers and applause, unanimously voting for “through the nose.”

Himesh asked again to confirm, and then proceeded to sing a couple of lines in his signature high-pitched nasal style, receiving a roaring applause from the audience.

For years, Himesh has been mocked by many in Bollywood for his “nasal singing” style. But this viral clip is being seen as a witty and bold reply to his critics. In a recent interview, Himesh stated that he never considered it as “nasal singing” but rather singing in a high pitch. He explained, “In the video for Aashiq Banaya Aapne, the guy was shown to be heartbroken, crying, and dancing — and I sang to match that emotion.”

Notably, Himesh recently starred in the film Badass Ravi Kumar, which received mixed reviews and didn’t perform well at the box office. After the successful Mumbai concert, Himesh is now set to perform in Delhi on July 19 as part of his Cap Mania Tour
