The teaser of the track, shared earlier this week by Kapil’s wife on Instagram, had already sparked anticipation. The full song, released today, showcases the duo performing amid a grand stadium setup, illuminated by disco lights and crafted to mirror a high-voltage nightclub atmosphere.
Sung by Honey Singh and Josh Brar, Phurr is produced by Honey Singh, with lyrics written by Raj Brar. The track leans heavily into Singh’s signature bass-heavy beat structure and Punjabi rhythm, aiming squarely at the year-end party circuit.
Speaking about the collaboration, Honey Singh said the project was rooted in friendship and creative camaraderie. “Kapil is a very dear friend, and doing a song for his film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 was a lot of fun. Phurr is a total party banger—it’s got that groove that’ll make you want to hit the dance floor and not leave,” he said, adding that he hopes the song draws audiences to theatres.
The sequel, directed by Anukalp Goswami, continues the comedic chaos surrounding Kapil’s character, now navigating a multicultural marital tangle. The film is produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas–Mustan under Venus Worldwide Entertainment in association with Abbas Mustan Film Production.
Billed as a major family entertainer, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is scheduled to release in cinemas on December 12, 2025. The official trailer is expected to arrive in the coming days, with Phurr serving as the film’s energetic kickoff to its promotional campaign.
