Justin Bieber Set to Perform at Grammys 2026, Marking Return After Four-Year Hiatus

Global pop star Justin Bieber will perform at the 2026 Grammy Awards, marking his first major live appearance in four years and positioning the ceremony as one of the most anticipated editions in recent memory. The Recording Academy confirmed Bieber’s performance ahead of the awards night, scheduled to be held in Los Angeles this weekend.

The 66th Grammy Awards will take place at the Arena in Los Angeles and air live on Sunday, February 1, in the United States, with a Monday, February 2 broadcast for audiences in India. The event will also be notable as the final Grammys ceremony to be broadcast live on CBS, before the show transitions to Disney’s streaming platforms from next year.

Bieber’s return comes alongside four major nominations, underscoring his re-emergence as a central figure in global pop music. His latest album Swag, released in 2025 and his first full-length project since 2021, has earned a nomination for Album of the Year. He is also in contention for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best R&B Performance.

Industry observers view Swag as a defining chapter in Bieber’s career, reflecting a more introspective and genre-blending approach after years away from the spotlight. His Grammy performance will be his first since the 64th Grammy Awards in 2022, adding to expectations of a carefully staged comeback moment.

The ceremony will also feature performances by Sabrina Carpenter, hip-hop duo Clipse, and producer-artist Pharrell Williams. In addition, the Grammys will spotlight this year’s Best New Artist nominees during a special segment featuring Olivia Dean, KATSEYE, The Marías, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young.

The Recording Academy recently released the full list of nominees across categories. Winners will be selected by the Academy’s voting members, a body comprising artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, and other music professionals.

Beyond Album of the Year and Song of the Year, key categories drawing attention include Producer of the Year (Non-Classical), with nominees Dan Auerbach, Cirkut, Dijon, Blake Mills, and Sounwave, and Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical), featuring Amy Allen, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Laura Veltz among others.

With Bieber’s return to the Grammy stage, the 2026 awards are shaping up as a high-profile convergence of established stars and emerging talent, reflecting both continuity and transition in the global music industry.
