KGF Co-Director Kirtan Nadagouda’s Son Dies in Tragic Lift Accident in Hyderabad

The four-year-old son of KGF co-director Kirtan Nadagouda, Sonarsh, tragically died in a lift accident in Hyderabad on Thursday. Sources said the child entered the lift without his parents’ knowledge, became trapped, and suffered fatal injuries after falling within the system.
Efforts were made immediately to rescue Sonarsh, but despite medical attention, he could not be saved. Kirtan Nadagouda confirmed the heartbreaking incident to NewsFirst, expressing profound grief over the loss. The couple’s social media accounts, which frequently featured pictures of their son, now reflect the family’s mourning.
The accident drew condolences from several public figures, including Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, who posted on social media expressing his sorrow. He offered his condolences to Kirtan and his wife, Samrudhi Patel Nadagouda, praying for strength for the grieving family during this difficult time.
Kirtan Nadagouda is known for his work as co-director and assistant director on major films directed by Prashanth Neel, including ‘KGF: Chapter 1’, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, and ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’. He is also slated to make his directorial debut in Telugu cinema with a horror film produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Prashanth Neel.
