Kriti Sanon named UNFPA Brand Ambassador

Actress Kriti Sanon has been made the brand ambassador for India by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). After becoming the brand ambassador of UNFPA, the focus of the actress is going to be on working at the ground level. She has also talked to the media about this.

Let us tell you that in a conversation with the media, Kriti Sanon was asked how she can implement gender equality in the film industry. Responding to this, the actress said- "There is no need to start from the film industry. The real problem is at the lower level in our country, where work is most needed. Recently I met some girls whose circumstances were very difficult. Their stories are inspirational. Girls should first understand their value and their identity and have the courage to choose a different path. It would be better if we start from the grassroots level."

At the same time, it is more important to inculcate the idea of respect and freedom towards women in the men of the society than working with women. When asked this, Kriti Sanon said, "Gender equality can come in the society only through education and awareness. Feminism and sex education are not discussed openly in our schools. Many times girls are married at the age of 11, while they do not even have the right information about menstruation or sex. All this information should be available to both boys and girls. Children learn by seeing in their home how their father is treating his mother. Real education starts from home. If it starts from there, then the change will go a long way."
