A crew member was beaten up by some locals on the set of actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's upcoming film 'Pati Patni Aur Woh 2' shooting in Prayagraj. At the same time, the police had registered an FIR in this case and now the main accused has been arrested.
According to reports, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (City) Abhijeet Kumar said that the incident took place on August 27 during the shooting of the film 'Pati Patni Aur Woh 2' on Thornhill Road here. Zoheb Solapurwala, production head of BR Chopra Films, was allegedly attacked by some local residents.
Main accused arrested
Police said that an FIR was lodged at Civil Lines Police Station on August 28 on the complaint of Saurabh Tiwari, line producer of BR Chopra Films. Police say that the main accused Meraj Ali has been arrested and his interrogation is going on.
