Bollywood actor Salman Khan attended the special screening of Aamir Khan’s film Taare Zameen Par on Thursday. As Salman was leaving after the premiere, a man suddenly tried to get close to him. Upon noticing this, the actor’s security team immediately sprang into action, restraining the individual and clearing the way for Salman.
In a video that has surfaced, the man, dressed in a blue blazer, can be seen standing in the middle of the stairs, seemingly waiting for Salman to arrive.
Salman Khan Gets Y+ Category Security, 11 Personnel Guard Him 24/7
After receiving threats from the Lawrence gang in 2023, Salman Khan’s security was significantly heightened. The Maharashtra government granted him Y+ category security. A team of 11 personnel is assigned to him at all times, including one or two commandos and two Personal Security Officers (PSOs).
Two escort vehicles always accompany his car—one in front and one behind. Additionally, Salman’s vehicle is fully bulletproof. After the firing incident at Galaxy Apartments, the balcony of his residence was reinforced with bulletproof protection in January. High-resolution cameras have also been installed all around the premises.
Attempted Intrusion in May
On May 20, a man attempted to sneak into Salman’s Galaxy Apartments. The accused, identified as 23-year-old Jitendra Kumar from Chhattisgarh, was caught. Just a day before this incident, a woman named Isha Chhabra had also tried to enter the apartment and was arrested by the police.
