Manoj Tiwari Recasts Bhojpuri Film, Ravi Kishan Becomes Villain: Nirahua Shares Behind-the-Scenes Anecdote

The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show featured a lively reunion of Bhojpuri cinema stars, including Manoj Tiwari, Pawan Singh, and Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua. Amid jokes and laughter, Nirahua recounted a humorous behind-the-scenes story about a film in which Manoj Tiwari intervened to change the casting, ultimately making veteran actor Ravi Kishan the villain.

Nirahua shared that during the production of a film launched for a politician’s son, Pawan Singh was initially offered the villain’s role. “When I asked Pawan if he had read the story, he said no. I then explained that the villain would face a lot of punishment in the film. He got worried and sought my advice,” Nirahua recalled. Concerned about the physical demands of the role, Pawan proposed that the film include two villains, allowing him and Nirahua to share the part.

However, Nirahua said he eventually contacted Manoj Tiwari for guidance. “Manoj spoke to the director and suggested that Pawan should perform the song sequences while I take a guest role. He also recommended that Ravi Kishan play the main villain,” Nirahua explained. Thanks to Tiwari’s intervention, the film’s casting changed entirely, giving Kishan a pivotal negative role that became memorable for audiences.

The anecdote elicited laughter from the studio audience and host Kapil Sharma, who jokingly commented on the actors’ creative negotiations. Nirahua further entertained viewers by sharing another light-hearted detail about Tiwari, revealing the names of his drivers over the years. “The first driver’s name was Ravi, then Pawan came, and now the driver’s name is Dinesh,” he said, prompting Manoj Tiwari to clarify it was a mere coincidence.

This episode highlighted the camaraderie among Bhojpuri actors and offered fans a rare glimpse into the decision-making process behind film productions. It also showcased Manoj Tiwari’s influential role not only as an actor and politician but as a mentor shaping casting choices in the industry.

Fans and cinema enthusiasts appreciated the humorous storytelling and behind-the-scenes revelations, marking the episode as a memorable interaction between Bhojpuri film stars and mainstream entertainment television.
