Mika Singh Offers ₹11 Lakh to Support Rajpal Yadav Amid Legal and Financial Crisis

Mika Singh described Yadav’s situation as “very difficult” and urged actors, producers and directors who have worked with him to step forward. “I am not saying that you should give ₹5 crores,” Singh said, adding that even smaller contributions could collectively make a meaningful difference. He suggested that if 20 people contribute amounts such as ₹50 lakh, ₹25 lakh or ₹11 lakh, it would significantly ease the financial burden on Yadav’s family.

Rajpal Yadav surrendered earlier this month in a long-running cheque bounce case involving ₹9 crore. According to reports, the actor has been facing financial hardship and is unable to repay the amount in question. The case stems from a business dispute linked to a loan taken for film production several years ago.

As news of his incarceration spread, several prominent figures from the Hindi film industry extended support. Yadav’s manager, Goldie, confirmed that actors including Salman Khan, Sonu Sood and Ajay Devgn have offered assistance. Filmmaker David Dhawan, producer Ratan Jain and actor Varun Dhawan have also reportedly expressed willingness to help.

“Many people are coming forward to support him at this time, which Rajpal has sincerely appreciated,” Goldie told Screen, adding that the family is grateful for the solidarity shown by colleagues.

Yadav, known for his comic timing and character roles in films such as Hungama, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Chup Chup Ke, has been a consistent presence in Bollywood for over two decades. His legal troubles have drawn widespread attention, prompting debate over financial management and the pressures faced by actors beyond the spotlight.
