Produced by Veer Reddy M and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Kranti Kumar, the film chronicles Modi’s inspiring journey from humble beginnings to India’s highest office.
Leading Kerala star Unni Mukundan best known for his performance in the 2024 action thriller Marco has been cast as Narendra Modi. Unni, who first met the Prime Minister in Kochi in 2023, brings firsthand insight into the role. His portrayal will emphasize PM Modi’s formative years in Gujarat, the influence of his mother, Heeraben Modi, and the key moments that shaped his political ethos.
“Maa Vande is designed as an epic, showcasing Modi’s childhood in Vadnagar, his early days as an RSS pracharak, and his rise through the ranks to become India’s Prime Minister,” explained director Kranti Kumar. “Our aim is to present an authentic, deeply human story that resonates with audiences across India and abroad.”
The film boasts a stellar technical team: Oscar-winning cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar (Baahubali, Eega) handles visuals, while composer Ravi Basrur (KGF franchise) crafts the original score. Editing will be overseen by Sreekar Prasad, with production design by acclaimed art director Sabu Cyril. Renowned action director King Solomon choreographs the film’s dynamic sequences, and cutting-edge VFX will bring historical moments vividly to life.
Shot simultaneously in Hindi and English, Maa Vande targets a pan-India release, with plans for global distribution. Speaking about the scale, producer Veer Reddy M stated, “This is a project of national significance. We’re investing in advanced technology and top-tier talent to ensure the story of PM Modi touches every screen.”
