Pragneshh Rawal Unveils Ambitious Multilingual Music Project Under ‘RawalMusic’s’

Founder aims to release 100 original songs blending devotion, culture, and contemporary sound

In a significant creative development in India’s independent music landscape, Mumbai-based singer–composer Pragneshh Rawal has announced an expansive multilingual project under his label RawalMusic’s, aiming to release 100 original songs spanning devotional, cinematic, and contemporary genres. Rawal, born on January 6, 1991, is emerging as one of the few independent artists creating a structured musical archive rooted in cultural expression and emotional storytelling.

The project highlights Rawal’s command over ten languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bhojpuri. His multilingual ability, he says, is not an artistic experiment but a way to connect diverse communities through music. “Emotion comes first. Language only shapes how that emotion travels,” he often states during performances.

Devotional roots shaping a modern musical journey

Rawal’s musical foundation traces back to small devotional gatherings in Mumbai, where he first sang bhajans during community events. These early experiences shaped his artistic identity, forming what he describes as a “spiritual relationship with sound.” As he transitioned from local sabhas to college festivals and cultural stages, his focus remained on emotional impact rather than commercial performance.

His live shows—often featuring blended languages, traditional instruments, and cinematic arrangements—have gained attention for their participatory energy. Audiences describe his concerts as “immersive” rather than performative, a quality that has widened his reach across states and age groups.

RawalMusic’s: A curated archive of original compositions

RawalMusic’s, his self-founded music label, is at the centre of the new project. The platform is designed to release carefully crafted original songs across themes such as Krishna devotion, cultural heritage, romantic narratives, and introspective moods. Each track, Rawal says, is treated as a “legacy piece,” built through a detailed creative process involving mood mapping, repeated refinement, and the fusion of traditional instruments with modern production techniques.

The label aims to offer a catalogue that prioritises emotional depth over market-driven trends, distinguishing itself from fast-paced digital releases dominating today’s platforms.

Family support powering the artistic vision

Rawal consistently credits his family as the backbone of his creative discipline. His wife Preiti Rawall collaborates closely on conceptual development, while his daughter Jenika inspires much of his softer and devotional work. His parents—Maheshbhai and Sushilaben—and his sisters Hetal, Parul, and Pooja remain integral to his upbringing and artistic grounding.

A long-term commitment to cultural legacy

With more than 100 songs currently in development, Rawal’s long-term plan is to create a musical archive that reflects India’s multilingual and multicultural identity. Upcoming releases will be paired with visual narratives, digital storytelling elements, and performance-based content designed for lasting resonance rather than viral traction.

Industry observers note that in an era dominated by short videos and algorithm-driven content, Rawal’s approach represents a rare investment in depth, legacy, and artistic integrity.
