On the fifth death anniversary of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a video on Instagram. In the video, Shweta remembered Sushant and said that he is still among all of us. She urged Sushant’s fans to keep his memory alive through love, simplicity, and good deeds.
In the caption of her Instagram post, Shweta wrote, “Today marks the fifth death anniversary of my brother. A lot has changed since June 14, 2020, when he left us. Now, the CBI has submitted its report to the court, and we are in the process of obtaining it. But today, I just want to say — no matter what happens, don’t lose hope. Never lose faith in God and goodness.”
Shweta further wrote, “Always remember what our Sushant was known for — his simplicity, his zest for life and learning, and his heart full of love. He saw everyone as equal and was always ready to help.”
Shweta: Avoid spreading negativity, Sushant wouldn’t have liked it
She continued, “His smile and the childlike innocence in his eyes could touch anyone’s heart. That was our Sushant. And that’s what we should strive to become. He hasn’t gone anywhere, believe me… he is within you, within me, within all of us.”
Shweta also added, “Whenever we love someone wholeheartedly, whenever we look at life with childlike wonder, whenever we have the desire to learn something new — he is with us. Never use his name to spread any kind of negativity. He would not have liked that. That’s not what he stood for.”
In her post, Shweta also wrote, “Look at how many hearts and minds he touched and transformed. Let his legacy live on. Be that shining lamp that can light up other lamps. The legacy of any great soul becomes even greater after they are gone. Do you know why? Because the brilliance of their personality continues to inspire generations.”
On this occasion, Shweta also shared some old photographs in which Sushant can be seen with his father and Shweta.
