Currently, Sunny is busy shooting for Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. His much-awaited film Border 2 is also scheduled for release on January 22, 2026, where he will once again portray Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri. The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, and Varun Dhawan in key roles.
In addition, Sunny will appear as Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana – Part 1. His recent works include Jaat (2025) and the blockbuster Gadar 2 (2023), which became one of the biggest hits at the box office.
