Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti questions suicide theory again

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, has once again raised doubts over the official conclusion that the actor died by suicide. Speaking on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, she questioned the physical possibility of Sushant hanging himself, saying the bed and ceiling fan were too close for such an act.
“How could it be suicide?” Shweta asked. “There wasn’t enough distance between the bed and the fan for someone of Sushant’s height to hang. There was no stool or table in the room either. I even asked my sister, ‘Which stool was used?’ but there was none.”
She further questioned the nature of the neck marks, stating, “The mark didn’t look like one caused by a dupatta. It seemed more like the impression of a thin chain.”
Adding that her brother was not someone who would take his own life, Shweta said, “We belong to a Rajput family — we are taught courage from childhood. My brother wasn’t that kind of person.”
During the conversation, Shweta also shared that several people, including a psychic, reached out to her after Sushant’s death. “The psychic told me that someone was brought into my brother’s life to break him. My sister was even told Sushant wouldn’t survive after March because black magic was being used on him,” she said, adding, “We are a scientifically minded family, so we didn’t believe it at the time.”
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in June 2020. While the CBI investigation concluded it was a case of suicide, his family has continued to challenge the findings. His girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was also given a clean chit in the case.
