Vadodara’s Rudra wins ₹25 lakh on KBC

Vadodara’s sixth-class student, 11-year-old Rudra Chitte, made headlines by winning Rs 25 lakh on the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) Juniors.
Hosted by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Rudra also set a new record in the Fastest Finger First round, completing it in just 2.4 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 2.78 seconds.
Rudra’s exceptional memory, quick thinking, and calm confidence impressed viewers nationwide. Answering questions from history, geography, science, and technology, he emerged as the top contender and secured the grand prize of Rs 25 lakh.
Years of preparation and discipline
Hailing from the Gotri area of Vadodara, Rudra had been preparing for KBC for three years. He studied a wide range of subjects, including history, physics, biology, technology, environmental science, mathematics, current affairs, and geography, using books and online platforms. His disciplined approach, intellectual curiosity, and dedication paid off, culminating in this national-level achievement.
Beyond KBC, Rudra is deeply interested in technology and innovation. He aspires to develop India’s first indigenous operating system, contributing to a self-reliant tech ecosystem and supporting the Make in India vision. Rudra believes that India must build its own software ecosystem to maintain global leadership in technology.
