Luxury hotel chains like Taj Oberoi and ITC are popular in India. But the largest hotel in terms of number of rooms is owned by Lemon Tree Hotels. Lemon Tree Hotels opened a hotel called Orica Mumbai Skycity in Mumbai in 2023 which has 669 rooms. Rs 610 crore was spent in building this hotel and its starting rent is around Rs 10000.

The luxury and 5-star hotel chains that are popular in India include Taj Hotels, Oberoi Hotels and ITC. But none of them has the largest hotel in India in terms of number of rooms.

The largest hotel in terms of number of rooms is owned by Lemon Tree Hotels. This is also a luxury hotel chain company, which started in 2004. It opened a special hotel in Mumbai in 2023, which is the largest hotel in India.
