ACME Research Solutions Cracks Water-Clear Nanoemulsion for Functional Beverages

ACME Research Solutions has developed a nanoemulsion technology that delivers oil-soluble vitamins and peptides in a completely transparent, water-like format, solving a long-standing challenge in the functional beverage industry.
The Indian pharmaceutical research firm says its proprietary process reduces particle sizes to under 50 nanometers, eliminating the cloudiness and instability that typically occur when oil-based nutrients are mixed with water.
"We have engineered a stable, ready-to-drink matrix where the particle size is reduced to under 50 nanometers," said Dr. Akhilesh Vats, Director of ACME Research Solutions. "This allows us to load high-density nutrients into a beverage that remains as clear as pure water, with zero turbidity."
Conventional formulations combining compounds like Vitamin E with water often result in milky emulsions prone to sedimentation and phase separation. Manufacturers have typically relied on masking agents or dyes to address the visual inconsistency, an approach at odds with growing consumer demand for "clean label" products.
ACME Research Solutions says its technology solves these issues while maintaining shelf-life stability, positioning it as a potential option for premium beverage development.
The company, which specializes in nanotechnology and novel drug delivery systems, has made the platform available for licensing to pharmaceutical and nutraceutical partners.
