Adani Ports Shares Jump Over 5% After Strong Q4 Results; Stock Hits ₹1,278
On May 2, shares of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) surged over 5% following strong quarterly earnings. The stock rose by ₹62.40 (5.13%) to trade at ₹1,278.
As per the results announced on Thursday, the company reported a total revenue of ₹8,770 crore in the fourth quarter of FY2024–25 (Q4FY25), marking a 21.81% increase compared to the same quarter last year, when it reported ₹7,200 crore in revenue.
Adani Ports also posted a net profit of ₹3,014 crore in Q4, which is a 47.74% year-on-year increase (January–March 2024) and a 20% rise compared to the previous quarter (October–December 2024).
Revenue Rises 6.58% to ₹8,488 Crore
In the fourth quarter of FY2024–25 (Q4FY25), Adani Ports generated revenue of ₹8,488 crore from operations (through sale of products and services). This marks a 6.58% increase compared to the same period last year, when the company reported revenue of ₹7,964 crore in January–March 2024.
