Kia India is going to launch the facelifted version of its popular MPV Carens on May 8, 2025. The special thing is that this new model will not replace the existing Carens, but it will be sold alongside as a premium variant. More than 2 lakh units of Carens, launched in 2022, have been sold so far.

Bold look and SUV-like styling
The new Carens adopts Kia's global design language, whose look is inspired by Seltos and Syros.

Spy shots indicate that this time it will have an even more SUV-like bold look. This includes:

  • Thinner LED headlights
  • New front grille with daytime running lights
  • Bumper with clean lines and new air intakes
  • Full-length LED light bar connecting the vertical LED taillamps at the rear
  • New alloy wheel design

Although there will not be much change in its side profile, but minor updates will make its look even more premium.

Premium interior and return of popular features (Kia Carens Facelift)

The interior of the new Carens will remain the same as the current model, but it will look more luxurious with some new color schemes and upholstery options.

  • 360-degree camera
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Larger infotainment touchscreen
  • Engine options remain the same
  • There is no change in the engine options in the Carens facelift. It will get the following engine options:

Price and Competition (Kia Carens Facelift)

The current Kia Carens is priced between ₹10.60 lakh and ₹19.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Carens facelift could be priced slightly higher than this and the top variant could go above ₹20 lakh.
