Sensex falls over 200 points: Nifty slipped 70 points; Auto and IT shares fell

September 25^th, Today the stock market is down,. Sensex is trading at 81,550, down by more than 200 points. Nifty is also down by about 70 points, trading at 25,000. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 23 are declining and 7 are rising. Auto, IT and banking shares are seeing major declines today.

Earlier yesterday, September 24, the market was down. Sensex closed 386 points lower at 81,716. Nifty also fell by about 113 points, closing at 25,057.

· In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei is up 0.20% at 45,719 and Korea's Kospi is trading flat at 3,471.

· Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index is up 0.32% at 26,603 and China's Shanghai Composite is trading 0.15% higher at 3,859.

· On September 24th, America's Dow Jones closed 0.37% lower at 46,121. Nasdaq Composite fell 0.33% and S&P 500 declined by 0.28%.
