Silver Becomes ₹13,230 Costlier This Week; Gold Up ₹3,445 per 10 gm, Nearing All-Time High

Gold and silver prices surged sharply this week. As per the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of gold rose from ₹1,23,146 on November 21 to ₹1,26,591 on November 28 — an increase of ₹3,445. The yellow metal is once again inching towards its all-time high of ₹1,30,874 per 10 grams, recorded on October 17.
Silver too witnessed a steep rise. Its price jumped from ₹1,51,129 per kg on November 21 to ₹1,64,359 on November 28a weekly increase of ₹13,230. Silver had hit its peak of ₹1,78,100 per kg on October 14.
Gold Up ₹50,429 and Silver Up ₹78,342 So Far This Year
Since December 31, 2024, gold prices have climbed ₹50,429, rising from ₹76,162 to ₹1,26,591 per 10 grams.
During the same period, silver has become costlier by ₹78,342, increasing from ₹86,017 to ₹1,64,359 per kg.

1. Buy Only Certified Gold:
Always purchase gold carrying a Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmark. The unique alphanumeric code (such as AZ4524) indicates purity and caratage.
2. Cross-Check Prices:
Verify the day’s gold rate and the correct weight from multiple reliable sources, including the IBJA website. Prices vary across purities like 24K, 22K and 18K.
