12,000+ Teacher Posts Vacant in KVS & NVS

Over 12,000 teaching posts are lying vacant in Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. The government may soon take steps to fill these positions. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary, while giving this information to the Rajya Sabha in a written reply to a question, has told that more than 12,000 posts of teachers are vacant in Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. He also informed that 7,765 posts of teachers are vacant in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and a total of 4,323 posts of teachers are vacant in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
However, he also told that the vacancies of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas are due to various reasons, the main reason for which includes establishment of new schools, retirement, resignation, promotion, transfer etc. Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary said that necessary steps are being taken for recruitment to these vacant posts.
So many posts vacant in NCERT
Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary has also informed that a total of 143 posts are vacant for Group-A in the National Council of Educational Research and Training, which will be filled soon. Apart from this, there are currently 60 vacancies in the National Council for Teacher Education.
Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary, while releasing the information about vacancies for the posts of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country, also said that this is an ongoing process for recruitment to these posts, which will be filled soon.
