Bihar STET 2025 registration postponed

The application process for Bihar STET exam has been postponed once again by BSEB due to technical reasons. New dates for registration will be announced soon on the official website. This is an important update for the candidates preparing for Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (Bihar STET) 2025. The application process for STET exam was to be started by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) from September 11, which has been postponed once again due to technical reasons. This information has been given by BSEB on September 13. The new dates for filling the application form will be announced soon by the board.

Where and how can you apply

After the new application dates are released, the candidates will be able to complete the application process by visiting the official website of BSEB secondary.biharboardonline.com through online mode within the stipulated dates. Any candidates who are dreaming of becoming a government teacher in future or who want to participate in BPSC TRE 4 recruitment can participate in this exam.
Exam proposed from 4th to 25th October
According to the notification issued by BSEB, the Bihar STET exam is proposed to be conducted from 4th to 25th October. After the exam, the result of the candidates was to be released on 1st November 2025. However, due to the application not starting yet, now changes in these dates are possible. If there is any kind of change, it will be updated here.
Fees for participating in STET exam
To participate in Bihar STET exam, candidates of General, BC and EWS category who will apply for single paper will have to deposit Rs 960 and Rs 1440 on applying for both papers. Apart from this, candidates of SC, ST, PH category who apply for single paper will have to deposit Rs 760 and Rs 1140 on applying for double paper. Application fee can be deposited through online mode.

Educational Qualification and Age Limit for Application

To apply for Bihar STET Exam, candidates must have a graduation or PG degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50 percent marks and also have passed B.Ed. Degree/M.Ed./B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. from an institute recognized by NCTE. Along with this, the maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 37 years. Candidates coming from reserved category will be given relaxation in upper age as per rules.
