Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has received requisition for SI recruitment; official notification is expected shortly.

Kiran Kumar, Officer on Special Duty for the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission, has informed that the requisition for the BPSSC Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2025 has been received. A notification for this recruitment will be issued soon, and applications can be accepted. This recruitment process will fill 1,799 SI positions.

What are the eligibility criteria for SI positions?
To apply for the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector position, a candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university/institution. Additionally, the minimum age of a candidate must not be less than 20 years and the maximum age must not exceed 37 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved categories as per rules.
