Bihar to Recruit 1.2 Lakh Teachers in 2025

There is big news for the youth dreaming of becoming a teacher. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed to conduct the fourth phase of teacher recruitment (BPSC TRE 4.0) in the state soon. Appointments are expected to be made on 1.2 lakh new posts through this recruitment. Under the new rule, now 35 percent of the total posts in this recruitment will be filled by women.

The Chief Minister of Bihar has said that Bihar Education Recruitment 2025 (BPSC TRE 4.0) will be released soon. After calculating the vacancies, applications will be taken by issuing a notification by BPSC. According to estimates, the fourth phase of teacher recruitment can be for a total of 1 lakh 20 posts, out of which 35 percent of the posts will be reserved for women.

Details for BPSC TRE 4.0 recruitment have been shared by tweeting from the official X handle of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. According to the tweet, "We have told the Education Department to immediately calculate the vacancies of teachers in government schools and take action to conduct TRE 4 examination for appointment on it. The state government has already clarified that the benefit of 35 percent reservation for women in appointments will be given only to women residing in Bihar."

BPSC will issue notification

As per the instructions given by the Education Department to the CM, the vacancies will be calculated soon and it will be sent to the Bihar Public Service Commission. After this, applications will be taken by issuing notification for recruitment by BPSC. Let us tell you that 1 lakh posts were to be recruited through BPSC TRE 4, but 20 thousand posts remained vacant in TRE 3. In such a situation, recruitment can be done for a total of 1.20 lakh posts by combining both.

How many posts have been recruited so far
For your information, let us tell you that three phases of recruitment have been completed by BPSC so far. 1.70 lakh posts were recruited in TRE 1, 70,000 teachers were recruited in TRE 2. Apart from this, recruitment was done for a total of 87,774 posts in TRE-3, out of which 66,603 posts were filled and the remaining posts remained vacant. Now TRE 4 recruitment will be done by combining these posts together. More details will be shared with the release of the notification.
