Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university is mandatory.

Technical Qualification: A Diploma in Sports Coaching from Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (SAI), a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching (PGDSC) from Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, Gwalior, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized sports university.

Sports Achievements: Candidates must have significant sports achievements, such as representing the country in a recognized international competition or the state in a national/international championship. Participation in events like the Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, or multiple appearances in national-level university, police, or railway championships is also required.

Age Limit (as of August 1, 2025): The general age limit is 21 to 37 years. Relaxations apply: up to 40 years for UR women and BC/EBC candidates, and up to 42 years for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process and Pay Scale

The selection will be based on a written examination (150 marks) followed by an interview (50 marks) Category-wise minimum qualifying marks are required in both stages. Upon selection, the position offers a attractive salary in Pay Level-6, with a pay scale of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400
