Over 46 Lakh Students Get Class 10 Marksheet Via Digital Portal

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10 results for 2026 today, April 15, recording a national pass percentage of 93.70 per cent. Students can now access their CBSE 10th Result 2026instantly on the UMANG App and DigiLocker, bypassing the heavy traffic on official websites.

Results Released This Afternoon

Officials confirmed that the scorecards went live at approximately 1:30 PM. Unlike previous years, the board has heavily promoted the UMANG platform as the primary delivery channel. This move ensured that over 46 lakh students could check their marks without crashing the main CBSE portal.

How to Check on UMANG

Sources indicate that the process on the UMANG platform is straightforward. Users must visit web.umang.gov.in or open the mobile app. After clicking on “CBSE Class X Results 2026,” candidates need to enter their roll number, school code, and date of birth. The digital marksheet appears instantly for download.

DigiLocker and SMS Options

For students facing technical glitches, the board has kept alternative routes open. The Class 10 scorecardsare also available on the DigiLocker platform. Additionally, in a public interest story, the board enabled an offline SMS facility. Students can type “cbse10” followed by their Roll Number, School Code, and Centre Number, and send it to 7738299899 to receive results via text message.

Minimum Marks and Grace Policy

According to board rules, candidates must secure a minimum of 33 per cent overall to pass the examination. Government updatesconfirm that students falling short by one or two marks in a specific subject will be awarded grace marks to ensure they are not declared fail unnecessarily.

Massive Examination Exercise

The board conducted the Secondary examinations from February 17 to April 10. As per official data, more than 31,000 affiliated schools participated, with exam centres set up across 26 countries abroad. Over 8,074 centres managed the logistics for the student rush.

What Next for Students

With the CBSE 10th Result 2026now public, the focus shifts to the admission season for Class 11. Schools across Delhi, Mumbai, and other metropolitan cities are expected to release cut-off lists for Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams by next week.
