JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 Registration Begins: NTA Issues Notification; Apply by 27 November, Exam from 21 January

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the detailed notification for JEE Mains 2026. The application process for Session 1 began on 31 October 2025, and candidates can now apply through the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in. The last date to submit applications is 27 November 2025.

More Exam Centers to Be Added
As per the NTA notification, the number of applicants is expected to rise this year. To accommodate them, additional exam centers will be set up across cities to ensure candidates get centers closer to their homes.
NTA has also announced enhanced facilities for differently-abled candidates to make the examination process more accessible and comfortable.
Update Documents to Avoid Rejection
In its earlier notice on September 29, NTA advised candidates to update key certificates to prevent form rejection. Applicants must ensure the following documents are accurate and up to date:

Aadhaar Card

UDID Card (for PwD candidates)

Category Certificate
Candidates should cross-check details on their Aadhaar card, including name, date of birth, photo, address, and father’s name. The date of birth must match the 10th marksheet.
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) must ensure their disability certificates are valid and renewed, while reserved category candidates should verify that their category certificates are up to date.
