Intelligence Bureau announces 258 vacancies

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs has released recruitment for Intelligence Officer and Technical positions. The application process for these positions will begin from October 25. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website mha.gov.in or ncs.gov.in. The recruitment advertisement has been published in Employment News dated October 25-31, 2025.

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E/B.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics/Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Masters degree in Electronics/Computer/Physics Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Computer Application with Science.
  • Must have passed GATE 2023, GATE 2024, GATE 2025 exam.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 18 years
  • Maximum: 27 years
  • SC, ST: 5 years relaxation
  • OBC: 3 years relaxation

Salary:

44,900 - 1,42,400 Rupees per month

Fees:

  • General, OBC, EWS: 200 Rupees
  • Reserved Category: 100 Rupees
