Jeevan Mantra: These Two Things Can Either Make or Break a Person’s Life
Digital Desk
If a person wants to be successful in life while staying stress-free, it’s essential to bring certain changes in their lifestyle. One should avoid giving too much importance to small things. There are two such factors that can both shape and destroy a person’s life
An ordinary person spends most of their time in two places — home and office. As the saying goes, “A person becomes like the company they keep.” Therefore, it’s important to choose the right environment to stay on the right path.
According to Acharya Prashant, the foundation on which a person chooses their spouse or companions is extremely important. Who you live with plays a vital role in determining the course of your life. Whether you are married or living independently, one must always remember the basis on which they chose their life partner. Think about small yet meaningful things like — “This person will now share my space every day,” or “Whose words will I constantly hear?”
Decisions based on these reflections can either make your life beautiful or completely ruin it.
Acharya Prashant further explains that the same logic applies to one’s workplace. If you spend 8 to 10 hours daily seeing certain faces or reporting to a boss who ends up having undue control over your life, you’re bound to feel trapped. The same goes for your office environment and the nature of your business — what kind of work your organization does and the kind of people involved in it.
Is this a small matter? Not at all. This is life itself. What you see daily, what you hear, eat, drink, think, and where your actions are directed — all these things define your life. One should treat these aspects normally and avoid overvaluing them.
Because if a person becomes overly serious about these two aspects — marriage and job — life can easily become stressful.
However, if you pass both these “tests” successfully, you’ll not only achieve success but also live a peaceful and stress-free life
