Massive Teaching Opportunities Open in 2025 with KVS-NVS Mega Recruitment

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched one of the largest teaching recruitment drives in recent years, announcing over 15,000 vacancies for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) combined for 2025.

The initiative includes 9,921 posts in KVS and 5,841 in NVS, covering principals, vice-principals, postgraduate teachers (PGTs), trained graduate teachers (TGTs), primary teachers (PRTs), librarians, and non-teaching roles like assistants and stenographers.

This common recruitment exam, conducted for the first time by CBSE, aims to fill positions across central government schools nationwide. The online exam is scheduled for January 10 and 11, 2026, with city intimation slips already released.Eligibility requires relevant degrees like B.Ed or D.El.Ed, CTET qualification for teaching posts, and age limits of 21-40 years with relaxations. Selection involves a computer-based test, skill assessments, and interviews where applicable.

The drive addresses long-standing shortages in quality education institutions, offering stable central government jobs with attractive pay scales. Similar opportunities emerge in states like Delhi (DSSSB with 1,180 primary teacher posts), West Bengal (13,421 primary assistants), and others, signaling a nationwide push to strengthen school staffing.

Aspirants rushed applications, which closed earlier this month, with thousands preparing for the competitive exam. These vacancies provide a golden chance for educated youth to enter prestigious teaching careers, contributing to India's education system.
