MPESB announces 7,500 Police Department Vacancies: Applications open from September 15

The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB) has launched one of its largest recruitment drives for the state police department, inviting applications for 7,500 vacancies across various posts, including Police Constable. Interested candidates can apply online starting today, September 15, through September 29.

Vacancy Distribution by Category

General: 2,025 posts
Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 750 posts
Other Backward Classes (OBC): 2,025 posts
Scheduled Caste (SC): 1,200 posts
Scheduled Tribe (ST): 1,500 posts

Educational Qualifications & Age Limits

Candidates from the Scheduled Tribe category require only an 8th-grade pass, while applicants from Unreserved, SC and OBC categories must have passed the 10th grade. The minimum age for all applicants is 18 years, with an upper age limit of 33 years. Age relaxation will be extended as per government norms for reserved categories.

Selection Procedure

Written Examination: Scheduled for October 30, 2025, in two shifts—9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Written tests will be conducted in the following cities:
Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Neemuch, Rewa, Ratlam, Sagar, Satna, Sidhi and Ujjain.

Application Process

Visit esb.mp.gov.in and register with valid credentials.
Complete the online application form with personal, educational and contact details.
Upload scanned copies of Aadhaar Card or PAN Card and a recent passport-size photograph.
Pay the application fee through the available online payment modes.
Submit the form and download/print the confirmation slip for future reference.
