The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026, a crucial national-level entrance examination for admission to MBA, PGDM and other management programmes across the country. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now download their admit cards from the official NTA CMAT portal.
According to the agency, the CMAT 2026 admit card contains essential information including the candidate’s name, roll number, examination date, reporting time, exam centre address and important instructions to be followed on the test day. NTA has advised candidates to carefully verify all details mentioned on the admit card and immediately report any discrepancy through the designated helpdesk.
The CMAT 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode at designated centres across multiple cities in India. The test will assess candidates on Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The scores will be accepted by AICTE-approved institutions, universities and management colleges for the 2026–27 academic session.
NTA has reiterated that candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport or driving licence to the examination centre. Entry will not be permitted without proper documentation. Electronic devices, study material and prohibited items are strictly barred inside the exam hall.
The agency has also urged candidates to reach the examination centre well in advance to avoid last-minute inconvenience and to follow all instructions related to frisking, biometric verification and seating arrangements. Any violation of exam guidelines may lead to disqualification.
With the release of the admit card, aspirants have entered the final phase of preparation. Education experts have advised candidates to focus on revision, mock tests and time management strategies in the remaining days before the exam.
The CMAT is one of the key management entrance exams in India, offering opportunities to thousands of aspirants seeking admission to postgraduate management programmes. The declaration of results is expected a few weeks after the examination, following which counselling and admission processes will begin at participating institutions.
