The Rajasthan government has expressed its intent not to cancel the 2021 SI recruitment exam, despite ongoing legal challenges.
During the hearing in the High Court regarding Rajasthan's much-discussed SI Recruitment 2021 exam, the state government made it clear that it is not in favor of cancelling the exam. The government said that the investigation is still going on and it would be hasty to cancel the entire exam. The final hearing in this case will be held on July 7.
During the hearing in the single bench of Justice Sameer Jain, Advocate General Rajendra Prasad said that the investigation in this matter is going on and the FIR has been registered only after record testing. The investigation is in the right direction and so far many culprits have been arrested. Many candidates selected under the recruitment are undergoing training, in such a situation, canceling the entire examination would be playing with their future. He told that in the report submitted by a sub-committee, it has also been suggested not to cancel the examination.
Now 55 people have been arrested
Let us tell you that in this case, SOG has so far arrested 55 people involved in fraud. Police believe that about 300 people are involved in the paper leak and making dummy candidates sit. The High Court had banned the recruitment training on 10 January 2025, which is still going on. On the other hand, National Democratic Party President Hanuman Beniwal has announced to march to Delhi with the youth against the government's intention of not canceling the examination.
