What is the eligibility to participate in CGL exam
To participate in SSC CGL exam, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university / institute. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 27 years. However, candidates coming from reserved category will be given relaxation in upper age as per rules.
To participate in this recruitment, candidates have to deposit the prescribed fee along with the application, the forms filled without fee will be automatically cancelled. Candidates of General, OBC and EWS category will have to deposit Rs 100 as application fee. SC, ST, PH and female candidates of all categories can fill the form free of cost to appear in this recruitment exam. Application fee can be deposited through debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI and e-challan.
To fill the SSC CGL application form, candidates will first have to do One Time Registration (OTR). After OTR, candidates will be able to fill the form by visiting the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in. The steps to fill the application form are as follows-
