The dates for compartment / improvement practical examination and theory examination have been announced by the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh. The time table for the compartment exam has been released by the board in PDF format on the official website upmsp.edu.in.
Theory examinations will be held on these dates
According to the details given by the UP Board, the examinations for both the classes will be conducted on the same day i.e. 19 July 2025. The examinations will be conducted in different shifts according to high school and intermediate class. 10th class examinations will be conducted from 8:30 am to 11:45 am, while class 12th examinations will be conducted from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. All students should register their presence at the center 45 minutes before the start of the examination.
Guidelines given in the notification
UP Board has issued a notification and issued guidelines for the examination. Therefore, read the rules below and ensure to follow them-
High School Improvement/ Compartment and Intermediate Compartment examinations will be conducted at the examination centers determined by the District School Inspector at the district headquarters. The District School Inspector will ensure the following arrangements at the examination centers:-
Entry of outsiders will be completely prohibited at the examination center except the candidates / center administrator / teachers and non-teaching staff.
The center administrator will ensure such arrangements so that unnecessary crowd of candidates does not gather at the entrance of the examination center. Similarly, such arrangements should be ensured even after the end of the examination.
It will be completely prohibited for the candidates to carry mobile, smart watch or any other electronic device inside the examination room.
CCTV cameras and routers etc. with voice recorders will be fully functional in the rooms during the examination.
The entire arrangement for keeping the question papers at the examination centres will be done in the double locked cupboard of the designated strong room like the main examination. The strong room will be under the surveillance of CCTV cameras with voice recorder working 24×7. The packets of question papers will be opened and distributed only under the surveillance of CCTV cameras in the presence of the centre administrator, external centre administrator and static magistrate.
