The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released exam city details for the UP Home Guard recruitment examination. Candidates can now check their allocated exam centres through the official UPPRPB portal. The development comes eight days before the written test begins.

The recruitment examination will be conducted across three days. Officials have scheduled the test for April 25, 26, and 27, 2026. More than 41,000 vacancies are expected to be filled through this drive. Sources indicated that the admit card will be made available shortly before the exam.

Massive Recruitment Drive

The UP Police Home Guard notification aims to fill 41,424 posts. General category candidates have 16,650 vacancies, while OBC gets 11,090 posts. SC and ST applicants have 8,645 and 808 positions respectively. EWS category accounts for 4,331 posts under this recruitment.

Eligibility And Selection Process

Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. The age limit is 18 to 30 years as of July 1, 2025. Government or semi-government employees are not eligible to apply. Physical standards include height and chest measurements for male candidates. Female applicants must meet minimum height and weight criteria.

Physical Efficiency Requirements

Male candidates must complete a 4.8 km race within 28 minutes. Female applicants need to cover 2.4 km in 16 minutes. Officials confirmed that the physical tests will follow the written examination. The application process concluded on December 17, 2025.
