Digital Desk
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has opened a correction window for candidates who applied for the Computer Operator Grade-A recruitment for 2026, allowing applicants to rectify errors in their online application forms. The facility is aimed at ensuring accurate records before the next stage of the recruitment process.
According to officials, the correction window applies to candidates who have already completed their online registration and submitted the application fee within the prescribed timeline. Applicants can edit specific details such as personal information, educational qualifications, category, and uploaded documents, as permitted by the board. However, core details like the application number and registered mobile number may remain non-editable.
The correction process is being conducted online through the official UP Police recruitment portal. Candidates are required to log in using their registration credentials and access the “Application Correction” link. Once the necessary changes are made, applicants must review the form carefully and submit it before the deadline, as no further edits will be allowed afterward.
The board has advised candidates to complete corrections well before the last date to avoid technical issues caused by heavy website traffic. While the UPPRPB has not indicated any extension, officials have emphasized that requests for changes after the deadline will not be entertained under any circumstances.
The Computer Operator Grade-A recruitment is a key drive to strengthen the digital and technical backbone of the Uttar Pradesh Police. Selected candidates will be responsible for managing data systems, assisting in digital record-keeping, and supporting technology-driven policing initiatives across the state.
Applicants are urged to cross-check spellings, dates, category details, and uploaded certificates during the correction phase. Errors left uncorrected could lead to rejection of the application at later stages, including document verification.
The UP Police Recruitment Board is expected to release further updates regarding exam dates and admit cards after the correction window closes. Candidates are advised to regularly monitor the official website for announcements and avoid relying on unofficial sources.
