UP Police SI Recruitment 2025 Result to Be Declared for 4,543 Posts

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released important updates regarding the Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2025 under Advertisement No. 03/2025. The recruitment drive, which includes a total of 4,543 posts across various categories, is now moving towards the result declaration and document verification stage in 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination are now awaiting their results, which are expected to be published shortly on the official UPPRPB website.
According to the latest notification, the Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for shortlisted candidates will be conducted on 15 and 16 June 2026. Only those candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the next stage of selection. Applicants are advised to regularly check official updates to confirm their result status and admit card availability for the DV/PST process.
The UP Police Sub Inspector recruitment process is one of the largest state-level police recruitment drives in Uttar Pradesh. The notification includes several categories such as Civil Police Sub Inspector (Male and Female), Platoon Commander PAC, Platoon Commander Special Force, and Sub Inspector posts in the Female Battalion. Out of the total 4,543 vacancies, the majority of posts are allocated to Civil Police SI, which accounts for 4,242 positions. Additionally, 135 posts are reserved for Platoon Commander PAC, 60 posts for Platoon Commander Special Force, and 106 posts for Sub Inspector in the Female Battalion.
As per eligibility criteria, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university in India. The age limit for applicants was set between 21 years and 28 years as of 1 July 2025, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government rules. The selection process includes multiple stages such as written examination, physical efficiency test, physical standard test, document verification, and medical examination.
Candidates who successfully clear the written examination will move forward to the DV and PST stage scheduled in June 2026. During document verification, candidates must present original certificates related to educational qualifications, identity proof, domicile, caste certificates (if applicable), and other required documents. The physical standard test will assess height, chest measurement (for male candidates), and other required physical criteria as per UP Police standards.
The written examination for UP Police SI Recruitment 2025 was conducted earlier, and candidates have been eagerly waiting for the result declaration. The board is expected to release the merit list and category-wise cut-off marks along with the results. Candidates are advised to download their scorecards from the official portal once the result link becomes active.
The UPPRPB has also advised candidates to carefully follow instructions mentioned in the notification to avoid disqualification during later stages. Any mismatch in documents or failure to meet physical standards may lead to cancellation of candidature even after qualifying the written examination.
The recruitment drive aims to strengthen the police force in Uttar Pradesh by filling crucial law enforcement positions.
