UPPSC LT Grade Assistant Teacher Admit Card 2026 Released, Exam Schedule Announced

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the admit cards for the LT Grade Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination 2026. Candidates who have registered for the competitive examination can now download their hall tickets from the commission’s official website. The admit card release marks a crucial step in the recruitment process for one of the state’s most awaited teaching examinations.

According to UPPSC officials, the LT Grade Assistant Teacher examination is scheduled to be conducted in multiple shifts across designated centres in Uttar Pradesh. The recruitment drive aims to fill a large number of vacancies in government-aided secondary schools under the state education department, strengthening the teaching workforce at the school level.

The admit card contains essential details including the candidate’s name, roll number, examination centre, date and time of the exam, subject applied for, and important instructions. Candidates have been advised to carefully verify all particulars mentioned on the hall ticket. In case of any discrepancy, applicants must immediately contact the commission for rectification before the examination date.

UPPSC has clarified that entry to the examination hall will be strictly prohibited without a valid admit card and a government-issued photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID or passport. Candidates are also required to follow examination guidelines, including reporting time, prohibition on electronic devices, and adherence to COVID-era standard safety protocols if notified by the authorities.

The LT Grade Assistant Teacher recruitment is being conducted through a written examination, followed by document verification. The written test will assess candidates on subject-specific knowledge, general studies and teaching aptitude, as per the syllabus notified earlier by the commission. The final selection will be based on merit prepared from the examination scores.

Education experts note that the LT Grade recruitment is significant as it addresses long-standing vacancies in secondary schools, particularly in subjects such as Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. The recruitment is expected to improve teacher-student ratios and enhance academic standards in government institutions.

UPPSC has urged candidates to rely only on official notifications for updates related to the examination, answer key and result declaration. Any misleading information circulating on social media should be ignored, the commission said.

With the admit cards now available, aspirants have entered the final phase of preparation. The examination is expected to witness high attendance, reflecting the strong demand for government teaching positions in Uttar Pradesh.
