The release date of ‘Om Ka Hari’, starring Soni Razdan, Anshuman Jha and Raghubir Yadav, has been announced. Directed by Harish Vyas, the father-son drama-comedy will arrive in theatres on September 18, 2026.The film centres on the relationship between Hari Prasad Sharma and his son Om Prasad Sharma, two family members who share a deep bond but struggle to express their feelings. Their differences become a source of conflict, while the story also brings humour and warmth to the relationship.Alongside Anshuman Jha, Raghubir Yadav and Soni Razdan, the cast includes Ayesha Kapur and Samta Sudiksha. Jha and Yadav play the central father-son characters, while Razdan features in a key role. For director Harish Vyas, ‘Om Ka Hari’ completes a thematic trilogy centred on different forms of love and relationships. His earlier films ‘Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain’ explored the relationship between a married couple, while ‘Hum Bhi Akele-Tum Bhi Akele’ focused on friendship. The new film also marks the third collaboration between Vyas and Anshuman Jha, following their earlier projects. The director has described the latest film as his most personal take on love, focusing on a father and son who care deeply for each other but have lost the ability to communicate those feelings. One of the film's notable musical highlights will be the inclusion of Asha Bhosle's final recorded feature-film song, ‘Ae Meri Zindagi, Tu Chupi Hai Kahan’. The film had its world premiere at Stuttgart in 2025 and was subsequently screened at events including the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and CSAFF, before its Indian premiere at the Closing Gala of the Red Lorry Film Festival.Produced by First Ray Films, the film will now make its theatrical debut in India on September 18, 2026.
